Job summary

Novelis Bay Minette is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to support manufacturing and continuous improvement in our aluminum operations, gaining hands-on experience in process optimization and data analysis. You will work with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

This internship offers exposure to Lean and Six Sigma concepts and development of documentation and standard

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline with junior or senior standing or a recent graduate.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, plus effective communication and teamwork.
Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

Support process improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
Analyze production, quality, and process data to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist with troubleshooting and implement corrective actions.
Develop and update process documentation and operating procedures.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support operational excellence.
Track progress and communicate findings and results to leadership.
