Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Process Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 program in Knoxville, Tennessee. You will work on manufacturing operations, analyze processes, and support projects that improve safety, quality, efficiency and overall plant performance.

You will learn the end-to-end coffee production process, including roasting, grinding, degassing, and packaging, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full time academic program studying Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across operations, maintenance, quality, engineering and leadership.
• Data analysis to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Structured problem solving to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and overall performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration to drive improvements with operators and teams.
• Technical knowledge of coffee roasting, grinding, degassing and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations and process improvement.
• Work with operations teams to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support projects that improve safety, quality, efficiency and performance.
• Develop and present project updates, progress, recommendations and results.
• Use structured problem-solving methods to identify root causes and drive solutions.
• Interact with interns and operators to learn day-to-day facility operations.
