Job summary

ExxonMobil, located near Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a Process Engineer to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency of our manufacturing assets. You will leverage process engineering principles, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to address day-to-day challenges and pursue long-term improvements.

You will monitor performance, support technology initiatives, and contribute to risk management for safe and sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in oil and gas / petrochemical industry or other relevant industry.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve process-related issues by applying engineering fundamentals, data analysis, and systematic problem-solving methodologies.
• Support operational excellence by identifying, evaluating, and implementing process improvements that enhance asset competitiveness and performance.
• Participate in risk assessment and management activities to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of manufacturing units.
• Develop a strong understanding of process technology, equipment interactions, and operational constraints within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and project teams to identify improvement opportunities and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Actively engage with internal and external subject matter experts, technology networks, and communities of practice to share knowledge and leverage best practices.
• Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and project results effectively through presentations, reports, and documentation.
