Job summary

Chemours in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join the Manufacturing Technology team. You will provide engineering and troubleshooting support for unit processes, including synthesis, refining, storage and shipping, to improve safety, operability, quality and cost.

The role requires ABET-accredited degree, data-driven problem solving, and strong communication. Travel <10%. Experience with PSM, RCFA and Lean methods preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Strong knowledge of basic chemical engineering principles and data-based decision making.
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and troubleshooting support for unit processes: synthesis, refining, storage and shipping.
• Monitor processes for shifts and identify improvement opportunities; use Uptime/Aspen tools for analysis.
• Lead safety, reliability and quality investigations and participate in FEL activities.
