The role emphasizes troubleshooting, reliability, MOC activities, and engineering studies, while collaborating with operations, maintenance, projects, integrity teams, and external contractors to resolve plant vulnerabilities and improve readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in LNG facilities or similar process environments.
• Operational experience within a process plant or comparable industrial setting.
• Experience aiding troubleshooting and closing technical action items.
• Experience supporting reliability, integrity initiatives, and plant performance improvement.
• Experience coordinating with operations, maintenance, projects, integrity teams, and third-party contractors.

Job Title: Process Engineer III

Duration: 1–3 years

Schedule: 8–10 hours per day (flexible)

Location: Sabine Pass, TX

This opportunity offers the chance to provide day-to-day engineering support across LNG process facilities, utilities, and balance-of-plant systems within a technically demanding operational environment. The role focuses on troubleshooting, facility reliability, integrity initiatives, Management of Change activities, and engineering studies, while supporting safe and efficient plant operation. This position will work closely with operations, maintenance, projects, integrity teams, and external engineering contractors to help resolve plant vulnerabilities and improve operational readiness.

Required Experience:

• Experience in LNG facilities or other relevant process and facilities environments.
• Operations experience within a process plant or comparable industrial setting.
• Background providing engineering support for troubleshooting operational issues and resolving technical action items.
• Experience supporting facility reliability, integrity initiatives, and plant performance improvement.
• Experience coordinating with operations, maintenance, projects, integrity teams, and third-party engineering contractors.

Required Skills:

• Strong capability in troubleshooting process facilities, utilities, and balance-of-plant systems.
• Ability to support and execute Management of Change (MOC) activities.
• Experience coordinating engineering studies and driving resolution of plant vulnerabilities.
• Ability to identify, prioritise, and close technical action items in support of safe and efficient operations.
• Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary engineering and operational teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Local candidate status is preferred.
