Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III for a 1-3 year assignment in Sabine Pass, TX, to support LNG facilities operations. The role focuses on technical stewardship of piping, vessels, heat exchangers and other fixed assets within a reliability engineering environment.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, projects and external contractors on plant improvement initiatives, perform troubleshooting, process engineering evaluations, and participate in Management of Change

Qualifications

• Experience in LNG facilities or similar process environments.
• Operations experience in an industrial plant setting.
• Background supporting piping systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and fired equipment.
• Experience contributing to reliability engineering, maintenance support, troubleshooting, and project execution.
• Experience with Management of Change activities and engineering evaluations.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer: III

Duration: 1-3 years Schedule: 8-10 hours per day (flexible) Location: Sabine Pass, TX

This opportunity supports LNG facilities operations by providing technical stewardship for piping systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, fired equipment, and other fixed assets. The role sits within a reliability engineering environment and contributes to safe, reliable, and efficient operations through equipment integrity management, engineering evaluations, troubleshooting, maintenance support, project execution, and Management of Change activities. This position offers the chance to work closely with operations, maintenance, integrity, projects, and external contractors on plant improvement initiatives.

Required Experience:

• Experience in LNG facilities or other relevant process and facilities environments.
• Operations experience within an industrial or plant setting.
• Background supporting piping systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, fired equipment, and other fixed assets.
• Experience contributing to reliability engineering, maintenance support, troubleshooting, and project execution.
• Experience working with Management of Change activities and engineering evaluations.
