Hours of work: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hours/Week. Expected to work outside of normal hours at times to support 24 hr/day plant operation and for occasional offsite assignments, including 30% travel with concentrated periods of higher travel.
The Process Engineer III provides process engineering technical support to Operations, Maintenance, and various Corporate departments. Responsibilities include identifying and initiating plant improvement projects, supporting plant capital projects, providing technical support to production teams, resolving all technical regulatory issues, and developing/presenting technical training.
This role involves performing complex assignments that may require developing new or improved products, processes, or techniques. It includes assessing the feasibility of engineering tests, coordinating planning and implementation of projects, and managing multiple assignments while working closely with staff, production, and maintenance teams.
The position may also involve a transition towards managerial responsibilities, with or without ongoing people management duties. It requires broad interpretation of engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
