Your Opportunity + Impact

The Engineer will provide design, calculations, and other activities related to process engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assignments to develop professional knowledge and abilities in support of a project team.

  • Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, equipment specifications, data sheets, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

  • Perform calculations including; material and energy balances, tank and vessel sizing, drain and vent sizing, heat loss.

  • Prepare specifications and technical reports requiring review and oversight of Engineer IV or Department Manager.

  • Support designers (Engineer I), review and edit drawings (Engineer II and III).

  • Learn about process modeling, LDG Procedures, and related necessary information to perform job duties.

  • Train co-ops and interns.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering

  • E.I.T. Certification Preferred

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the engineering field. Engineers could have more experience, but this does not guarantee promotion to a higher level. Engineering capabilities will dictate engineering level category

  • Progressive experience with ChemCAD, Aspen or Promax

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have a strong desire to expand knowledge base and undertake new responsibilities. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook), be a strong communicator, and have strong presentation skills.
