Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Wisconsin (US) is seeking a Process Engineer to conduct activities related to creation, improvement, control, testing, and inspection of production processes.

You will ensure GMP compliance, develop process simulations, oversee equipment, lead optimization projects, and support technology transfers. A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 4+ years in chemical manufacturing is required, with familiarity in ChemCAD, Dynochem, Minitab, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical & Biological Engineering.
• 4+ years of work experience in chemical manufacturing or chemistry development.
• Excellent analytical and scientific problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and standards.
• Familiarity with Minitab and AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering activities related to creation, improvement, control, testing, and inspection of production or operation processes and products.
• Ensure all operations adhere to quality standards, GMP requirements, and regulatory mandates.
• Develop process simulations and manage the transition of new chemical processes to full-scale production.
• Oversee design, production, and maintenance of plant structures, systems, and components.
• Lead optimization projects to reduce costs and cycle times while improving product yield and quality.
• Manage technology transfers and draft formal protocols and comprehensive study reports.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, and QA to monitor and maintain control of existing manufacturing processes.
• Provide expert problem-solving advice and evaluate new technologies through internal and external stakeholder collaboration.
