Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Process Engineer II (QC and Calibration Process Development) to support development and improvement of QC and calibration for immunoassay and PCR-based assays at our Westbrook, Maine location. You will design experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive robust processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on immunoassay experience (ELISA) and reagent preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, perform immunoassay experiments, gather data, and reach conclusions; lead DoEs.
• Evaluate assay performance including calibration, sensitivity, specificity, reproducibility, and lot-to-lot consistency using JMP for analysis.
• Prepare and qualify assay components; test reagents or final products as needed.
• Document experiments per Good Documentation Practices; prepare reports and present results.
• Lead small projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investigations and change orders.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QC, QA, and R&D to ensure efficient processes.
• Order and maintain equipment and workspace; perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Provide guidance and mentor colleagues within area of expertise.
• Stay current with products, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
