Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Process Engineer to lead process optimization across bulk manufacturing, material handling, and packaging. You will analyze performance, drive throughput and OEE improvements, and troubleshoot deviations with cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and delivering sustainable process improvements in a highly regulated aerospace environment, partnering with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in process improvement, manufacturing optimization, or production operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication across organization levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization for bulk manufacturing, handling, and packaging.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and identify opportunities to improve throughput, yield, cycle time, quality, and OEE.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for process deviations, equipment performance issues, and production constraints.
• Develop and implement sustainable solutions that improve process capability and manufacturing reliability.
• Support production scheduling and capacity planning through process analysis and bottleneck identification.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and improve operational performance.
• Establish and maintain KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
