Position Overview

BAE Systems is seeking a Process Engineer II to join our fast-paced manufacturing team at the Merrimack, New Hampshire facility. This role involves working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and adapting to a dynamic production environment to influence the successful achievement of production goals and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Provide manufacturing support, process development, and continuous improvement for the Advanced Composites Manufacturing factory.
2. Utilize hands-on problem solving, data analysis, and application of engineering, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles to enhance assembly processes, product flow, yields, and reduce costs.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Experience in composite manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with PPV FAI.
• Prior experience in a DoD manufacturing environment.
• Secret Clearance.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $77,809 - $132,275. Salary is determined based on various factors including skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
