Job summary

CSAT Solutions seeks a Process Engineer II in Houston to lead NPI initiatives, drive process improvements, and collaborate with operations, quality, and suppliers. You will develop standard work instructions and control plans to ensure repeatable, high-quality manufacturing processes.

The role requires 3 years in process or manufacturing engineering, strong Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and solid data analysis with Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 3 years of proven success in a similar process/manufacturing engineering role.
• Ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles, process mapping, root cause analysis, continuous improvement.
• Working experience with AutoCAD for layout development, process flow diagrams, equipment placement and documentation support.
• Proven experience in structured problem solving and data driven decision making.
• Strong data analysis skills; intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product introductions (NPI) ensuring process readiness, documentation and training.
• Own and drive process and product improvement initiatives from identification through implementation and results tracking.
• Serve as a front-facing technical representative collaborating with operations, quality engineering, and external stakeholders.
• Lead Lean, 5S and Six Sigma activities to support continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Facilitate cross-functional project teams delivering improvements in quality, efficiency and KPIs.
• Develop, review and maintain standardized work instructions for repeatability and reproducibility.
• Prepare and present project status reports, KPI dashboards and executive summaries.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support engineering technicians and activities related to computer repair services as needed.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and other quality system requirements compliance.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Process Engineer II.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead new product introductions NPI ensuring process readiness documentation and training execution.
• Own and drive process and product improvement initiatives from identification through implementation and results tracking.
• Serve as a front facing technical representative collaborating with operations quality engineering and external stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate Lean 5S and Six Sigma activities to support continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Facilitate and lead cross functional project teams delivering measurable improvements in quality efficiency and KPIs.
• Develop review and maintain standardized work instructions to ensure repeatability and reproducibility.
• Flow charts.
• Control plans and charts.
• Manufacturing and process instructions.
• Prepare and present project status reports KPI dashboards and executive summaries.
• Analyze process data to identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support engineering technicians and activities related to computer repair services as needed.
• Ensure departmental compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality system requirements.
• May be responsible for mentoring task coordination or supervision of assigned personnel.
• Take ownership of assigned initiatives and proactively identify opportunities beyond assigned scope.
• Perform other duties as required to support business objectives.

Skills Education and Training

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 3 years of proven success in a similar process or manufacturing engineering role
