Job summary

MacLean Power, LLC in Fort Mill, SC seeks a Plant Quality and Process Engineer to improve manufacturing processes and products. You will apply engineering analysis, data interpretation and root-cause investigation across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include developing PFMEAs, Control Plans, process audits, and mentoring staff, with emphasis on rubber-related processes and 5S. A degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; >5 years experience.
• Rubber chemistry, extrusion or molding experience preferred.
• Experience with AIAG core tools: PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA.
• Certified Internal Auditor in ISO or IATF management systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and statistical software (Minitab) and QMS/document control systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate process, quality and safety risks with cross-functional teams.
• Support manufacturing processes in mixing, rubber extrusion, injection molding and assembly.
• Recommend cost-efficient equipment and processes that promote quality and reliability.
• Develop PFMEAs and Control Plans; audit processes and materials to meet standards.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Train personnel on equipment usage and processes; maintain documentation.
