Job summary

Datwyler seeks a hands-on Process Engineer for its Rubber Molding department to support daily manufacturing operations and lead process validation activities. The role focuses on process standardization, regulatory compliance, and the drive for improvements across production lines.

You will analyze data, coordinate with quality, maintenance, and production teams, and implement new processes and equipment while ensuring timely, compliant validations and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of experience in a process engineering role in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with rubber molding processes and validation.
• Understanding of validation principles and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on equipment experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
• Familiarity with MES, SAP, MII.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day process engineering support in rubber molding operations.
• Plan, execute and document process, equipment, and system validations.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to implement new processes and methods.
• Analyze process data to identify trends and root causes of issues.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure validations are completed on schedule and compliant with timelines.
• Promote a safe working environment and follow all safety regulations.
• Mentor and train team members as needed.
