Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 0-5 years in Manufacturing Engineering in an Engineering role.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience leading projects and cross-functional teams.
• Proven development of processes, product and equipment from concept to implementation.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• MS Office skills required; robotics programming, PLC programming, AutoCAD and SolidWorks beneficial.
• Experience in new product launches and manufacturing operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance to resolve quality, safety, and productivity issues.
• Develop and execute plans for cost reductions with 5M efficiency, including new technologies.
• Coordinate implementation of new products and changes into mass production.
• Establish and maintain the Process Control Plan for quality and validation.
• Recommend capital investments for quality, safety and productivity improvements.
• Create specifications for equipment, jigs and processes.
• Investigate product quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop equipment specs for existing and new lines.
• Design processes to meet quality, cost, delivery and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate and manage project schedules and external suppliers/contractors.
