Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Colorado is seeking a Process Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team on several projects. You will develop heat and material balances, perform hydraulic calculations, and create PFDs and P&IDs under supervision.

The role requires a BS in engineering, strong communication and teamwork, and willingness to travel up to 20% to client sites in Englewood or Westminster.

Responsibilities

• Develop heat and material balance for new projects using process simulation tools.
• Perform equipment sizing calculations and prepare data sheets.
• Create PFDs and P&IDs and perform hydraulic calculations.
• Contribute to safety reviews, HAZOP/PHAs and PSM activities.
• Support proposals and project staffing with Process Engineering Manager.
• Assist in construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
