Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Englewood/Westminster team. This role targets an immediate start and involves multidisciplinary project work under supervision.

You will develop heat/material balance, sizing calculations, and piping data sheets, while contributing to safety reviews and design documentation. The position requires a BS in engineering, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with a strong academic background.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and site visits.
• Located in Englewood, CO or Westminster, CO.

Responsibilities

• Develop the heat and material balance for new projects using process simulation tools.
• Perform equipment sizing calculations and prepare equipment data sheets.
• Perform detailed hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizes, valve sizing, compressor and pump duties, etc.
• Develop Design Basis for new projects.
• Develop Process Control Narrative and support Cause & Effect document.
• Create PFDs and P&IDs.
• Participate in safety reviews (HAZOP/PHAs) and PSM activities.
