Job summary

Indium Corporation is hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer I in Clinton, NY. You will develop and support optimized manufacturing processes, analyze data to improve efficiency, and determine root causes for process insights.

The role includes hands-on technical work, documentation, and collaboration across teams. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with 8:00am–5:00pm office hours at 34 Robinson Road, Clinton NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or an Associate degree with a professional certificate
• Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience
• Communicates in a clear, organized, and professional manner in writing and speaking

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering concepts to assigned projects
• Develop and implement optimized, cost-effective manufacturing processes
• Follow disciplined product/process development and change control methods
• Develop manufacturing processes by understanding product requirements and testing methods
• Provide hands-on technical support and training for manufacturing processes
• Review customer prints and specifications for manufacturability and documentation
• Improve processes to drive cost reductions and quality improvements
• Create engineering documents, procedures, and work instructions per quality standards
• Analyze process data to drive efficiency and root-cause actions
• Apply statistical process control and Lean principles
• Contribute to project cost estimates, timelines, and milestones
• Keep team members updated on project status and risks
• Collaborate effectively with the team and work independently on multiple tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned
