Job summary

Indium Corporation in Clinton, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer I to develop, implement, and support optimized manufacturing processes. You will perform data-driven analysis to improve efficiency and product flow, determine root causes, and provide process insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or Associate degree in a technical field with a professional certificate.
Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering concepts to assigned projects and develop optimized manufacturing processes.
Design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment; confer with vendors.
Provide hands-on technical support and training for processes and personnel.
Review customer prints and specs to ensure manufacturability and proper documentation.
Improve processes to reduce costs and improve quality and efficiency.
Document engineering designs, procedures, and work instructions per quality standards.
Analyze process data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
Apply statistical process control and Lean manufacturing principles.
