Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Process Engineer in our Pasadena, TX office. The role involves completing design of less complex process engineering tasks and assisting more complex projects under supervision.

You will support safe design, assist with conceptual layouts, cost studies, and construction drawings while coordinating with multidiscipline teams. A PE/EIT preference and 1+ years of experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university.
• 1+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical/petroleum process design engineering.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and integrate safety concepts into process design.
• Assist in developing conceptual layouts and cost studies for engineering tasks.
• Prepare estimate-level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Create detailed design calculations and construction drawings.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for conformance to specifications.
• Perform fieldwork to gather data and support construction.
• Collaborate with design leaders across disciplines for project flow.
