Job summary

Fujifilm Dimatix in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Process Engineer I to sustain and improve the 24/7 back-end assembly production, applying engineering and statistical approaches to solve problems and optimize processes. The role supports new product development and R&D projects.

You will monitor processes (SPC, yield), drive problem-solving methodologies, manage tooling automation, and collaborate to improve yield, cost and safety while training operators.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in high-precision assembly/manufacturing with process automation.
• Hands-on, on-site presence and strong SPC knowledge.
• Able to coordinate multiple concurrent projects with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production with technical guidance and tooling checks.
• Monitor SPC and yield, analyze data to identify trends and root causes.
• Apply problem-solving methodologies across manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with Failure Analysis and development engineering on improvements.
• Prepare and update process documentation and train operators.
• Drive automation and tooling development, including outsourcing coordination.
