Job summary

Danone is seeking a Process Engineer based in Mt. Crawford, Virginia. You will focus on equipment improvement, standardization, training, and problem solving to eliminate losses and drive standards across the plant.

You’ll spend 60–80% of your time on the manufacturing floor, lead DDS in absence of Line Leader, and collaborate with frontline teams to implement changes and training, ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree preferred.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience with demonstrated technical aptitude and leadership capability.
• High School/GED required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as backup to the Line Leader and lead Daily Direction Setting (DDS) when Line Leader is unavailable.
• Identify, prioritize, and eliminate process losses; lead discussions on losses and plan for the month.
• Define equipment standards and drive standardization deployment.
• Direct and coach change management and validation processes.
• Train and develop frontline teams on process/equipment changes.
• Own and improve Daily Management Systems (DMS) and risk-based improvements.
• Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities and drive OE.
