Job summary

Volt is hiring a Process Engineer in Fremont, CA. You will work across all stages of the manufacturing process, designing and optimizing equipment for a new facility or improving existing lines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, 2+ years in production or process engineering, strong technical skills, CAD/AutoCAD, and experience with process simulations. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:10pm; Pay rate: $38.00-$45.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• 2+ years in production or process engineering.
• Proven work experience in process engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• CAD or AutoCAD skills.
• Excellent technical skills.
• Experience in process simulations.
• Knowledge of process related standards.

Responsibilities

• Work during all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Research and development of new equipment.
• Assisting Process Technicians in troubleshooting in the event of a problem.
• Data collection, interpretation and report in writing.
• Installation of new equipment.
• Presentation of data and report to management and customer.
• Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
