Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, materials, ceramic, mechanical engineering or computer science.
• 0–5 years engineering/manufacturing experience (internships allowed).
• Proficient in process control/analysis techniques.
• Experience completing projects in a manufacturing organization.
• Data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Design or improve processes at Corning facilities worldwide.
• Apply Six Sigma and Designed Experimentation to solve problems.
• Implement Process Control and Process Discipline in manufacturing operations.
• Analyze process data using statistical tools (Pareto, regression, ANOVA, Gauge R&R).
• Document processes and train operators and peers on defined processes.
