Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Delaware Water Gap, PA is seeking a Process Engineer to manage technical projects, drive cost reductions and continuous improvement across production processes.

You will partner with operations and control engineers, analyze data, build PI pages, and support daily reporting to help the mill meet efficiency goals.

Required: 0–2 years in process engineering, Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; PI training preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: 0–2 years of experience in a process engineering role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science or engineering; paper science & engineering or chemical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine and implement process changes to improve efficiency.
• Perform daily checks of production output and contributing factors.
• Provide operators and managers with analytical support for process issues.
• Develop PI pages and maintain Process Book data accuracy.
• Generate production reporting and monitor process performance.
