Job summary

OxyChem in the United States is seeking entry-level Chemical Engineers for the Process Engineer (College Hire) program across multiple U.S. locations. You will contribute to process improvements, safety, and operational reliability while starting your career with hands-on training and mentorship.

Candidates are pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minimum 2.85 GPA and a graduation window of Dec 2027–May 2029; relocation is required at times.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
• Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Minimum GPA 2.85 on a 4.0 scale.
• Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase capacity and reliability.
• Support operations with troubleshooting and startup of new projects.
• Prepare project justifications and oversee vendor coordination.
• Provide ongoing engineering assistance to plant personnel.
