GEA Group is seeking a mid-senior level Process Engineer to join our Oakdale, MN team. You will support sales, engineering, commissioning and optimization of process systems for liquid, fermentation and filling lines in beverage, food and dairy industries.

The role requires design skills, analytical problem-solving, and collaboration across disciplines. Expect up to 50% travel, including international trips, with a base pay range of $85,000–$120,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 2–10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in the food, dairy, or beverage processing preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Support sales, engineering, commissioning and optimization of process systems.
• Develop BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/heat balances.
• Lead FATs and oversee site commissioning.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with global teams for project execution.
