Job summary

GEA Group is seeking an engineering professional to lead project execution for dairy/beverage equipment. You will coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines, ensure timely installation on site, and oversee subcontractors while reviewing drawings and specifications.

The role emphasizes customer communication, project planning, and collaboration with Sales and Service to support technical needs throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 1–3 years Dairy or Beverage industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to work with other departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially with process equipment.
  • Ability to arrange multiple tasks and prioritize to achieve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and lead with other engineering disciplines within the department, and ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure successful installation of equipment on site.
  • Oversee sub‑contractors as required.
  • Assist with product drawing and specification reviews as required.
  • Determine project objectives by reviewing handover documents and specifications.
  • Determine project specifications by analyzing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
  • Manage communication with customers throughout the life of the project.
  • Manage communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage completion of project objectives from receipt of order to completion of commissioning.
  • Create project schedules to achieve successful project timelines.
  • Create procurement specifications and production demands while utilizing the company SAP system.
  • Provide general technical support to customers during the life of the project.
  • Support Sales and Service department with technical support, as required.
