Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an engineer to support the new manufacturing group for cold plates production used in advanced electronics and data centre cooling. The role covers aluminium fabrication processes and interfacing with customers and suppliers, moving from prototype builds to repeatable low-volume production.

The position provides a path to an Operations Manager role as the team grows and the business expands in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Process Engineering knowledge related to aluminium fabrication and associated processes.
• Ability to interface with customers, suppliers and all manufacturing groups.
• Candidates with process knowledge outside aluminium will be considered.

Job description

Requirements:

• You will support the new manufacturing group for cold plates production for advanced electronics and data centre cooling.
• Process Engineering knowledge in some or all of the following:
  • Aluminium fabrication to include extrusion, welding, brazing, tube bending, CNC machining and pressing.
• Capable to interface to customers, suppliers and all manufacturing groups.
• If process engineering knowledge in the above is outside of aluminium you will be considered.

Duties:

• This is a new position reporting to the Plant Manager and the key Engineer to support new production of cool plates used for cooling data centres.
• You will take from prototype build to repeatable low volume production.
• Interface to customers, suppliers and all of the manufacturing group.
• This position offers advancement to a Operations Manager position.
