Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead all process engineering activities for our aluminum extrusion manufacturing operation. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, yield, energy efficiency and cost through process optimization and technology implementation.

You will provide technical leadership across extrusion, anodizing, fabrication and finishing, working with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Commercial and Product Engineering to meet business

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Track record in manufacturing engineering, ideally aluminium extrusion or similar metals environment.
• Comfort leading or mentoring a team, even if people-management experience is growing.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools.
• Knowledge of die technology, SPC/DOE, process capability and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering across billet preheating, extrusion, anodizing, fabrication and finishing, shaping how we make product every day.
• Optimize extrusion parameters to boost productivity and quality.
• Drive OEE, throughput, recovery and first-pass yield using Lean & Six Sigma.
• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Partner with Product Engineering & Sales on new profiles, alloys and fabrication methods from concept to launch.
• Build and grow a team of Process Engineers & Continuous Improvement Specialists.
• Champion MES and data acquisition to modernize performance tracking.
• Collaborate with Quality to reduce scrap and warranty issues and drive root-cause problem solving.
