Job summary

Gotion Illinois is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support the Pack and Module Manufacturing team. You will develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production.

The role emphasizes ramp‑up activities, continuous improvement, and improvements to yield, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience in 3–10 years of manufacturing/ process engineering.
Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments.
Experience with pack and module assembly processes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure stable processes on Pack and Module production lines and achieve yield, throughput, and OEE goals.
Lead process qualification, equipment installation, and ramp-up activities.
Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance and cross-functional teams on control plans and in-process quality.
Troubleshoot process issues and drive corrective actions.
Develop and maintain process documentation (PFDs, SOPs, WIs, standards, control plans).
Conduct process experiments and analyze data to optimize processes.
