Job summary

The Executive Recruiter Group seeks a Process Engineer responsible for all aspects of the assigned manufacturing process. This hands-on role will implement, monitor, improve and troubleshoot processes on the shop floor, working with production equipment and operators within a facility.

You will support Design Engineers and production, ensure manufacturability with high quality, and drive continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction or output.

Qualifications

• Hands-on process engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to create and maintain work instructions and SOPs.
• Experience with root cause analysis and RCCA investigations.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineers and production with manufacturing processes.
• Ensure processes are manufacturable with high quality and proper documentation for Operations.
• Lead continuous process improvement projects focusing on cost reduction or output increase.
• Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Train shop floor employees and collaborate with maintenance for equipment upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and document process, performance, and equipment issues.
• Collaborate with design/mechanical engineering to transfer designs to production.
• Monitor KPIs to drive process improvements.

Job description

We are seeking a Process Engineer who will be responsible for all aspects of the assigned manufacturing process. This person will mimplement, monitor, improve and troubleshoot the assigned manufacturing processes. This is a very hands-on role working with the production equipment and operators within a manufacturing facility.

Duties

• This role supports the Design Engineers as well as production support
• Ensures processes are manufacturable with high quality and provide appropriate documentation and tools to the Operations team
• Implements continuous process improvement projects focusing on cost reduction or output increase
• Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Works with Operations to train shop floor employees
• Works with facilities and maintenance team to identify and implement equipment upgrades
• Troubleshoots, solves and documents process, performance and equipment issues
• Conducts RCCA investigations for manufacturing/process issues
• Works with Design and Mechanical Engineering to transfer new designs from development to production
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Supports the proposed battery design process to ensure manufacturability.
