Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Process Engineer for the Reading, PA area. The ideal candidate will bring metallurgical experience to direct process improvement for new product development. A BS in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science and 3+ years of process improvement in manufacturing/lab settings are required. Hot metals or powder metals is a plus.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Salary $100,000–$125,000.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct R&D to optimize processes and develop new products.
  • Lead technology transfers to manufacturing and draft CAPEX requests for equipment upgrades.
  • Provide metallurgical expertise to Production, Sales, and Quality teams.
  • Review customer specifications, run process capability reports, and resolve CAPAs.
  • Author SOPs and Workstation Procedures in compliance with safety and quality systems.
  • Evaluate emerging industry technologies and report progress to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide metallurgical expertise to Production, Sales, and Quality teams
