Advantage Technical is seeking a Process Engineer - Ergonomist for a major automotive manufacturing facility in Wayne, MI. This 100% onsite temporary role focuses on improving workstation design, reducing ergonomic risks, and enhancing safety, productivity, and operational performance.

The successful candidate will conduct ergonomic assessments, analyze data, and collaborate with production, engineering, safety, medical, labor, and plant leadership to implement improvements and support launches.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Kinesiology, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in ergonomics, manufacturing, industrial engineering, safety, or related technical environment.
  • Experience performing ergonomic evaluations and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with 3D modeling required.

Responsabilidades

  • Conduct ergonomic assessments of production workstations and manufacturing processes.
  • Identify injury risk factors and recommend workplace improvements.
  • Analyze safety, medical, and operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with production, engineering, safety, medical, labor, and plant leadership teams.
  • Support new product launches, process changes, and workstation redesign projects.
  • Ensure compliance with established ergonomic standards and best practices.
  • Deliver training and guidance to employees and leadership on ergonomics and injury prevention.
  • Utilize data analysis and 3D modeling tools to evaluate and improve workplace design.

Process Engineer - Ergonomist

Location: Wayne, MI (100% Onsite)

Pay: $42.31+/hour

Are you passionate about workplace safety, ergonomics, and manufacturing excellence? We are seeking a Process Engineer - Ergonomist to support a major automotive manufacturing facility in Wayne, MI. This temporary role focuses on improving workstation design, reducing ergonomic risks, and enhancing employee safety, productivity, and overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments of production workstations and manufacturing processes.
  • Identify injury risk factors and recommend workplace improvements.
