Job summary

Mach10 Solutions seeks a practical Process Engineer to lead manufacturing enhancements and robust process development across the organization. You will spearhead root-cause investigations, apply Six Sigma frameworks, and implement DOE to refine workflows while designing tooling and procedures for shop-floor operations.

Utilizing a strong mechanical engineering foundation and software tools like Inventor and AutoCAD, you will improve process control and collaborate cross-functionally.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in engineering field required.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent.
Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and cooling systems.
Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software.
Plastics production background preferred (injection/extrusion/compression molding or casting/PTFE/heat treatment).

Responsibilities

Perform root cause investigations to minimize waste and boost operational efficiency.

We are seeking a practical Process Engineer to integrate into our engineering department. Your primary focus will be to spearhead manufacturing enhancements and cultivate robust processes throughout the organization.

Core Duties

Perform root cause investigations to minimize waste and boost operational efficiency.
Utilize Six Sigma frameworks to champion ongoing process optimization.
Implement Design of Experiments (DOE) to help refine and perfect our manufacturing workflows.
Design essential tooling, fixtures, technical schematics, and standardized shop-floor procedures.
Maintain rigorous process control, manage documentation, and facilitate collaboration across various departments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in an engineering field.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or an advanced equivalent.
Solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles.
Practical knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and cooling systems.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software.
Background in plastics production is highly preferred, specifically regarding injection, extrusion, or compression molding, as well as casting, PTFE, or heat treatment.
