Job summary

Entegee in Wisconsin is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to develop, validate, and continuously improve high-volume manufacturing processes. You will design assembly workstations, tooling, and ergonomic solutions to support efficient production.

Responsibilities include leading PFMEA, control plans, and standard work, plus cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to ramp new products and optimize cycle time, throughput, and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of process engineering experience within automotive or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting assembly operations, equipment installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up activities.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, ergonomics, and quality systems.
  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Capability Studies, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CAD or manufacturing layout software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of driving measurable process improvements.

  • Support new product launches through process planning, documentation, and production readiness activities.
  • Create and maintain process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, standard work instructions, and related manufacturing documentation.
  • Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to cycle time, quality, throughput, and efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues affecting production performance.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet product and business requirements.
  • Assist with facility layouts, equipment selection, material flow optimization, and manufacturing line improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, uptime, cost reduction, and error-proofing.
