Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing concerns.

• Collect and analyze process data to drive data-based decisions and implement corrective actions.
• Control non-conforming material flow; collaborate with shift quality engineer.
• Provide customer concern support and corrective actions.
• Ensure supplier correction action effectiveness for incoming material concerns.
• Participate in kaizen events, layered audits, and internal audits.
• Validate and release processes for new products and engineering changes.
• Define preventive measures and determine control methods; own the Control Plan.
• Drive new process technology and continuous improvement; ensure projects complete on time.
• Collaborate with product development, maintenance, and shift area managers to improve efficiency.

Job Description

The Process Engineer will provide technical support, capability improvement, standardized work, immediate problem solving, and process support for multiple processes.

• Provide technical support for manufacturing concerns.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Process data collection and analysis to make data-based decisions and implement corrective actions.
• Control of non-conforming material flow throughout the plant; work closely with shift quality engineer.
• Provide customer concern support and corrective actions.
• Ensure supplier correction action effectiveness for all incoming material concerns.
• Participate in kaizen events, layered audit and internal audit process.
• Validation and release of processes for new products and engineering changes.
• Define preventive measures and detect control methods: Owner of Control Plan.
• Drive new process technology and continuous improvement: Ensure projects are completed on time.
• Work closely with product development engineers, maintenance and shift area managers to improve efficiency of operations.
• Additional job duties as necessary to facilitate plant operation and needs.

Qualifications
