PBF Energy is seeking a Process Engineer for our Martinez Refinery in California. The role involves optimizing unit performance to meet safety, environmental, and economic objectives, and providing technical support for day-to-day and non-routine activities within the operations department.
You will engage in process optimization, continuous improvement, and collaboration with the Process Engineering Group to drive efficiency and reliability across refinery units.
Process Engineer – PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE: PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We have an opportunity at our Martinez Refinery in California and are seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our team as a pivotal member who will play a key role at PBF Energy.
Process Engineers optimize unit performance to meet the refinery’s safety, environmental, and economic objectives. They provide technical support for the operating units, including day‑to‑day and non‑routine activities, process optimization, and continuous improvement. Process Engineers are assigned to and work closely with their operations department, while reporting directly to the Process Engineering Group.
The salary range for this position is $92,846.05 – $164,756.20. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job‑related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate’s compensation. In addition to salary, PBF offers a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
