Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

• Join a high-impact team supporting the sustainment and enhancement of the C-17 Globemaster III Airlifter fleet under a multi-billion-dollar contract. This role focuses on engineering transformation through advanced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and digital modelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for applying industry-standard analysis methods to optimize engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Lead the implementation of national and industry standards for product definition data.
• Oversee strategic planning approaches that simulate multi-functional dependencies across the product development lifecycle.
• Serve as Engineering SME for IPDM R9/2312 Change Request and Data Migration test development and execution.
• Lead integration and testing of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) system models with IPDM R5 and R9/2312.
• Operate under consultative direction, driving innovation and continuous improvement across engineering systems.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering processes.
• 10+ years integrating Digital Engineering modeling (e.g., 3D solid modeling, systems modeling, simulation).
• 10+ years of analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting experience.
• 5+ years developing technical presentations.

Preferred:

• 15+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
• 15+ years integrating Digital Engineering modeling.
• 15+ years of analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• 8+ years presenting technical content to senior leadership.

Education/Experience Note:

• Typically acquired through advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, with 14+ years of related experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
