Do you want to lead the Systems Engineering of next-generation, market-leading secure communications technology that keeps the US and its allies ahead of the curve and safe on the world stage? Do you understand UDP at the protocol level, structure systems in SysML, and know what it takes to deliver under DO-178C? This is your chance to lead architecture and integration on mission-critical military comms systems as a Lead Systems Engineer!

You won’t be buried in process or stuck in a silo. You’ll work in a tight knit engineering team where your input genuinely shapes product direction, from early architecture decisions through to integration and test. The environment is technical, hands-on, and collaborative, with direct access to leadership and minimal bureaucracy.

As a Lead Systems Engineer, you’ll:

• Lead the development of system requirements, interface control docs, and architecture using Cameo and SysML (MBSE)
• Define and manage system-level test plans, verification objectives, and traceability to DO-178C and DO-254
• Coordinate across software, firmware, hardware, and test teams to ensure system-level alignment
• Work on a product with complex comms protocols, safety-critical constraints, and multi-discipline integration
• Own the technical approach through milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)

As a Lead Systems Engineer you’ll have:

• A background in software engineering / programming prior to moving into systems engineering
• Strong understanding of real-time communications protocols (UDP, RS-422, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553)
• Familiarity with systems certification standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-810, or MIL-STD-461
• Experience with MBSE tools like Cameo and requirements management systems like DOORS or Visure
