Position: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Description

The Production Engineering Manager will oversee all manufacturing and production engineering activities, including work order implementation, router creation, and process improvements. This role leads a team of engineers and planners, driving efficiency, reducing waste, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing routers and production drawings.
• Lead engineering initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure product manufacturability.
• Manage and develop team performance, attendance, and safety.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years leading engineering teams in a production facility.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and ERP systems (Global Shop a plus).
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma (preferred).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
