Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Process Engineer with at least seven years in aerospace to develop and implement manufacturing procedures for complex sheet metal fabrications and machined assemblies. You will own processes from design to shipment and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure quality and feasibility.

The role requires strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and CAD skills (Siemens NX or AutoCAD), plus ERP/MRP and PPAP knowledge. A four-year engineering degree is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent.
• Seven years of aerospace engineering experience required.
• Strong background in blueprint reading, GD&T, and specification interpretation.
• Knowledge of PPAP and ERP/MRP systems is beneficial.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and shop floor tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop written processes from customer drawings to meet quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing on process improvements.
• Own product life cycle from PO receipt to shipment and tooling development.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, providing program management support.

This position is offering a pay of $75,000 - $105,000. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Job Description: Process Engineer

A Process Engineer is responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures used to assemble, process, test and/or manufacture complex sheet metal fabrications and complex machined assemblies for the aerospace and land-based industries. Please note that we are seeking a senior team member with at least 7 years of aerospace engineering experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• * Develop written processes in accordance with customer-supplied drawings to produce end product that meets blueprint and quality requirements
• * Work with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing groups to identify needs for process improvements and provide engineering solutions to identified problems
• * Responsible for product life cycle from PO receipt until the shipment of end product. This includes bill of material creation, tooling development, creating and maintaining shop routings and operation sheets, providing shop technical support through the development and production cycle while maintaining quality requirements. When necessary, provide interim maintenance to already developed product
• * Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers, relaying technical information and providing program management support
• * Follow quality system procedures as required

Requirements:

• * Four-year engineering degree or equivalent
• * Seven years minimum of relevant aerospace engineering experience is required. Tool design experience would be beneficial, but is not required
• * The ideal candidate must have a strong background in blueprint reading, GD&T, and specification interpretation
• * Must possess either 3D (Siemens NX) or AutoCAD experience
• * Must possess knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
