Job summary

Trusted Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Process Engineer with aerospace process engineering and metallurgy experience to review customer blueprints and apply GD&T principles to guide manufacturing processes.

You will create travelers or routing packets with clear instructions, ensuring parts are produced to print and meet ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance. Collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams is required to optimize processes and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to interpret customer-designed blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret customer-designed blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Process Engineer to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace process engineering, metallurgy, and metal fabrication, with a deep understanding of machining and special processes such as plating and heat treat. This role involves reviewing and processing jobs based on customer-designed blueprints, applying GD&T principles, and creating travelers or process routing packets with clear instructions to ensure parts are manufactured to print and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy, metal fabrication, and machining processes.
  • Experience with special processes such as plating and heat treatment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
