Job summary

Primary Services seeks a Process Engineer to drive site-level quality initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will ensure products meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and ISO 9001 standards, while leading RCCA/CAPA activities and applying SPC techniques.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to maintain the QMS, review procedures, and monitor quality documentation. This hands-on role offers growth and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional quality engineering experience required.
• Hands-on ISO 9001 experience required.
• Experience with SPC techniques and RCCA/CAPA.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Manufacturing/oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Experience with quality documentation and First Article Inspection.
• SAP experience preferred; Internal Auditor certification is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site's Quality Management System and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Lead root cause and corrective actions (RCCA, CAPA, PCCA).
• Apply SPC to monitor processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze production and quality data to spot defect trends and root causes.
• Review specifications, procedures, and quality records for accuracy.
• Ensure products meet engineering specs and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production on cross-functional quality projects.
• Oversee inspections and QA documentation, including SAP tracking.
• Support internal quality audits and ISO certification activities.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen manufacturing quality.

The Process Engineer will drive site-level quality initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring products meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and ISO 9001 standards. Working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality, this role will maintain critical Quality Management System activities, lead root cause and corrective action initiatives, apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques, and support continuous improvement throughout manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site Quality Management System and support ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Lead root cause and corrective action activities using RCCA, CAPA, PCCA, and related quality methodologies.
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor manufacturing processes, analyze variation, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify defect trends, determine root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Review engineering specifications, process procedures, test procedures, and quality documentation.
• Ensure manufactured products meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and product integrity standards.
• Partner with Engineering and Production on cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
• Guide the daily work and priorities of plant-level Quality Inspectors.
• Oversee QM lot and First Article Inspections, including tracking through SAP.
• Maintain First Article Inspection documentation and quality records.
• Support internal quality audits and ISO certification activities.
• Implement process improvements that strengthen manufacturing quality and Quality Management System performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional quality engineering experience required.
• Hands-on ISO 9001 experience required.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required.
• Manufacturing and/or oil and gas industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies, including RCCA and CAPA.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing quality data, product defects, and process performance.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection processes and quality documentation.
• Experience reviewing engineering specifications, test procedures, and manufacturing processes.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Internal Auditor certification strongly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
