Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring that every product meets the highest quality and safety standards. You will plan and direct activities related to the development, application, and maintenance of quality systems, supporting both production and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and oversee all safety-critical quality functions, ensuring adherence to designated specs and regulatory requirements.
Interpret blueprints and identify critical characteristics.
Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods during APQP.
Manage gage calibration programs and measurement system analysis (MSA).
Support vendor quality processes, including qualification, control, and corrective actions.
Conduct Gage R&R studies and SPC analyses.
Lead corrective and preventive action activities in production.
Participate in new product development teams, ensuring smooth launch to production.
Manage disposition of discrepant material through MRB authority.
Interpret customer specifications and oversee PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, and process flows.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
1-5 years of quality and manufacturing experience.
Auditing experience strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and PFMEA preferred.
