Job summary

BD is a global medical technology leader seeking a manufacturing specialist to implement and sustain BDPS work processes in its CT-based manufacturing unit. You will identify critical equipment settings, create standards, and transfer knowledge to operators and technicians to sustain improvements.

The role emphasizes coaching on continuous improvement, addressing top losses to improve OEE, and handling change control including validations and quality events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Two to three years of manufacturing experience preferred; medical manufacturing experience desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.

  • Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.

  • Ensures safety of all associates and quality of product.
  • Ensures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meet Manufacturing Unit objectives.
  • Ensures equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyzes current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability.
Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Minimum Experience
  • Two years medical manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Three years manufacturing experience preferred.

The salary or hourly rate offered is determined by the role's specific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the work location, which may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role. Salary Range $83,500.00 - $133,500.00 USD Annual
