Responsibilities
  • Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.
  • Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
  • Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
  • Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
  • Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
  • Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Deliverables
  • Ensures safety of all associates and quality of product.
  • Ensures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meet Manufacturing Unit objectives.
  • Ensures equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyzes current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability.
Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Minimum Experience
  • Two years medical manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Three years manufacturing experience preferred.
