Job summary

Autoliv is seeking a Process Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes across our automotive production lines. You will focus on efficiency, quality, and productivity while applying Lean and Six Sigma methods.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related engineering field and 2–5 years of automotive process engineering experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and drawing interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of process design, development, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies, Lean/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements to reduce production costs, lead times, and waste.
• Maintain safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Design and implement innovative manufacturing solutions and technologies to enhance production capacity and product quality.

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in process engineering within the automotive industry.

If You Have/are

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of process design, development, optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using SolidWorks CAD, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
