Job summary

Polar Semiconductor is seeking a candidate in Bloomington, MN to join the team with a focus on process optimization, materials disposition, and supporting equipment qualifications and new tool startups.

You will analyze failed runs, drive continuous improvement in yield and cost, and assist in the development of key technologies. The role requires collaboration across multiple functions and a strong foundation in semiconductor processing techniques.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing techniques and statistics.
  • Working knowledge of SPC, Gage R&R, and Six-Sigma methodology.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must as this role will require in depth cooperation with multiple functions and manufacturing sections.
  • Skills in technical writing, computers, problem solving and organization.

What We Offer

Salary: The estimated base salary range for the position is $77,000-$90,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job‑related experience, skills and level of the position.

Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation: Includes health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, annual bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
